IF: Theory

This is my theory on why animals never evolved the ability to speak. It's really difficult to evolve all the qualities that you need in order to become a higher life form all at the same time, you know. In this specific case, I'm pretty sure that the man is creeped out by the animal's request and will subsequently fashion a pointy ended weapon with the intention of cutting off a branch of the Phylogenetic tree. I don't like that man. But what do you want me to do? Erase him?
